An official from the Florida Department of Children and Families was allegedly dispatched to Tiger Woods‘ home Friday for a “well-being check.”
The official says the Department received a complaint — no word on who made it or why or what exactly happened. The visit is a routine procedure when a complaint is lodged. The case is being evaluated.
Also in the WoodsWorld:
Tiger has been dropped as a spokesman by Accenture, a global management services company that featured Woods very prominently in its ad campaigns. (One check gonzo! My question is, have any of the executives or staff of this company ever cheated on their wives or husbands? If we all lost our jobs because of “indiscretions” or “infidelity” there would be no unemployment problem in America…noooo, not at all. McDonald’s would be searching high and low for a “perfect” burger flipper.)
The company’s released statement reads: “Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising.” Accenture said that it wishes only the best for Tiger Woods and his family. I have jokes on their statement but I won’t start; this isn’t meant to be a mean website… Awwwwww OK, f’it. So here’s the thing, it seems that Tiger CAN handle the management of his own globals quite well…and when I say global, I mean GLOBAL (these chicks are from everywhere). Back to nice Free.
Gillette also announced this past weekend that they were phasing Woods out of its ad campaigns. Sing it with me y’all, “Gillette!! The best a man can get.” (Again, I think Tiger could still rep them. He is the best a man can get on the golf course.)
And finally a bright light in Tiger’s currently dim world: Nike is standing by the multimillion-dollar man who has been a rep for over a decade. Smart move. Nike’s slogan is “Just Do It.” Someone up there knows that men buy most of Nike’s products and that the guys feel bad for Tiger right now. This = sales galore ’cause he did “Just do it, and do it, and do it and do it…i can’t write that 13 times but u get my drift.
Tiger has the unfortunate fortune of being talented, an alpha male and now a “sex addict.” I’m not rolling with that one….no, not at all.
