Mo’Nique and Gabby Sidibe are nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, respectively; the movie itself was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Morgan Freeman earned a nod for his role in Invictus and Ruby Dee was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for “America.”
