Whitney Houston recently cancelled a number of tour stops on her European tour, due to an upper respiratory infection that she was briefly hospitalized for. After news of the cancellations spread, many tabloids began speculating that Houston had relapsed into her drug addiction. Whitney denies that allegation, saying: “At this point, I just don’t respond. I don’t even read it. My health is terrific. But this is a time when I get a lot of allergies.” The cancelled shows will be rescheduled and her tour will continue on starting April 13th in Birmingham, London.
