Denzel Washington and Viola Davis took home their first Tony Awards last night for their roles in the critically acclaimed Broadway play Fences; their awards were for Best Performance by a Leading Actor and Actress. Both Fences and Fela!, the play produced by Jay-Z, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, won 3 awards each.
