Fans of the critically acclaimed cartoon The Boondocks have been led to believe that season 3 was the end of the road for the show, but that might not be the case.
Funny man John Witherspoon, who played the voice of Robert Freeman (alongside Regina King as the voices of Huey and Riley), revealed in an interview last month that for the past 6 months he’s been told that the show wouldn’t return. But he recently spoke to show creator Aaron McGruder who told him that the controversial cartoon will actually have a fourth season.
The new season will have 20 episodes, instead of the usual 15. Hopefully, this turns out to be true, but no one is safe when The Boondocks are on. Check out the rest of John Witherspoon’s interview below.
