It looks like Lil Wayne is in for another win. According to Hits Daily Double, his new album, Tha Carter IV, is projected to sell 850-900,000 in its first week based off of Monday’s one-day sales.
Tha Carter, which was released digitally Sunday night after Wayne closed out the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards and physically on Monday, holds features from Drake, Nas, Rick Ross, John Legend, Bun B, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Shyne, Tech N9ne, and Corey Gunz, and includes his hit single “How To Love”.
This is nearly a repeat for him. The third installment of Tha Carter series, released in 2008, sold 1 million copies in its first week. Congrats to Wayne!
