Just a few days after being released from prison, T.I. is back in federal custody. After his release, T.I. took a tour bus from the Arkansas prison he served 10 months in, to an Atlanta halfway house where he was supposed to serve the rest of his 11 month sentence.
According to Steve Sadow, T.I.’s lawyer, prison officials took issue with his method of transportation, claiming that T.I. had misled them into thinking he would travel in a van instead of a tour bus to the facility. As a result, officials moved T.I. from the designated facility to an undisclosed location.
It appears that his new location is actually a penitentiary in downtown Atlanta, where he will serve the remainder of his sentence.
T.I.’s return to federal custody comes right on the heels of the announcement that he and his family have landed a reality series on VH1, and the news that he will be releasing his first book later this year.
