Some of the final work Amy Winehouse completed before her untimely passing was with legendary singer Tony Bennett. The two were captured in the studio recording “Body and Soul,” a song that will be featured on Bennett’s upcoming album Tony Bennett: Duets II, in stores on September 20.

Though a toxicology report revealed that Amy did not have any illegal substances in her system at the time of her death, Mr. Bennett shared what he wished he could have told the singer:

I wanted to tell Amy, I wanted to talk to her and her dad about what happened to me, and how I stopped and how it helped. Everybody loved her so much. Her fans really loved her. They were all rooting for her. And she was such a sweet child. And it was so tragic that she died so young.

The song and video for “Body and Soul” will be available on iTunes on Amy’s birthday, September 14. The proceeds will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
