Apple has decided that it will close the doors of some of its retail stores on Wednesday, October 19, for between 1 and 3 hours. The temporary closures will occur during a company memorial meant to celebrate the life and numerous contributions of co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs. (more…)
Over the weekend, singer and Washington DC native Raheem DeVaughn was arrested, along with Dr. Cornel West and 17 other individuals, for protesting on the steps of the Supreme Court of the United States. After spending the night in jail, Raheem was released yesterday.
