Ice Cube, Chris Tucker Possibly In Talks For New Friday Movie

Since its release in 1995, Friday has gone on to become a fan favorite with 3 sequel films following in its tracks. Well, if rumors are true, it looks like Ice Cube and Chris Tucker are in talks to create a new Friday movie with the original cast.

TMZ caught up with Tiny Lister, who played Deebo in the movie, and he revealed that a fifth installment of the movie could be on the way.

Tiny Lister was hangin’ out in L.A. last night — when the scariest man in Hollywood told us … Tucker flew him out on his private jet recently to discuss the possibility of getting the ORIGINAL “Friday” crew back together.

FYI — Tucker shot into superstardom playing pot-obsessed Smokey in the original “Friday” back in 1995 … and then refused to appear in any of the sequels, citing religious reasons.

But now, Lister tells us … Tucker and Cube have a big pow-wow set for next week to discuss a 4th “Friday” film … adding, “This is gonna be the big one.”

Lister told us he and Tucker also talked about doing a sequel to the 1997 hit, “The Fifth Element.”

The original film starred Ice Cube as Craig, Tucker as Smokey, Lister, Regina King, Nia Long, John Witherspoon, Anna Maria Horsford, the late Bernie Mac, and Faizon Love.

Sequels to The Best Man and Waiting to Exhale are already on the way. If Friday was added to that list, will you be watching?
