Good Deeds and The Marriage Counselor will hit theaters soon enough, but in the mean time, Tyler Perry has already begun to work on another Madea movie.
The new film will be called Madea’s Witness Protection and will begin shooting this week in Atlanta at Tyler’s studios.
Romeo Miller, who co-starred in last year’s hit movie Jumping the Broom, will be the lead in the film along with Denise Richards (“Two and a Half Men”) and Eugene Levy (American Pie, Night at the Museum).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, in Madea’s Witness Protection:
Levy will play a man who, after his investment company goes belly up due to embezzling, is put in witness protection with his family, which is forced to move from a wealthy Connecticut neighborhood to Madea’s home in the South. Richards is set to play Levy’s wife.
Miller will play a man who believes Levy is responsible for his church’s investments being wiped out and wants to take the law into his own hands.
Good Deeds, which is Tyler’s next movie, will be in theaters on February 24. You can watch the trailer, starring Gabrielle Union, Thandie Newton, Phylicia Rashad, Brian J. White, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy, and Mr. Perry himself by clicking here.
