The road to the Oscars is getting closer and closer for The Help stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer.
Last night at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, both women took home the title in their respective categories. Davis won for Best Actress while Spencer added to her growing award collection with her win for Best Supporting Actress.
Just weeks ago, Spencer also was awarded in the same category at the Golden Globes.
As for the movie itself, The Help earned an award for Best Cast In A Motion Picture. Congratulations to them all!
The next stop for the film, Davis, and Spencer are the 84th Annual Academy Awards, which will air on Sunday, February 26, at 7PM ET on ABC and will be hosted by Billy Crystal.
