Though the move has not been completely confirmed, it looks like early reports that Diddy is gearing up to launch a music themed cable channel have some truth to them.

He recently spoke with Sway of MTV News in Miami to discuss the venture:

“I haven’t made that announcement yet. That’s something that kinda leaked to the press.

“When I have everything officially solidified, I’ll be able to speak on it more. Only thing I can say is, we’re coming with a new energy, we’re coming with something that people are going to want to tune in to see.”

Diddy also thanked MTV and BET for paving the way for his vision. Supposedly, the channel will be called “Revolt” and make its debut in December of this year.
