Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna Top Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Jennifer Lopez has claimed the #1 spot on the annual Forbes “The Celebrity 100″ list. The mother, singer, and actress earned a reported $52 million over the past 12 months, but guess who made more than her? Well, Oprah Winfrey, of course. The media mogul took in $165 million (more than anyone else on the list) last year.

Revamping her entire image, Jennifer’s spot as an American Idol judge, her music career, clothing line, fragrances, and multiple endorsement deals helped her land at the top of the list, taking the title from last year’s winner Lady Gaga (who is at #5 this time around).

Oprah came in at #2 due to her O magazine, Sirius XM radio deal, and various TV shows, like “Dr. Phil” and “The Rachel Ray Show.” Though her OWN network has been live for a year, Oprah has not made any money from the venture yet.

Justin Bieber took the #3 spot with $55 million made in 2011; Rihanna is just behind him at #4 with $53 million earned, and Lady Gaga rounds it out at #5 with $52 million made.

Beyonce, Tyler Perry, LeBron James, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Britney Spears also made it into the top 20 on the list. (Half of the top 20 celebrities, and 7 of the top 10 positions belong women.)
