Creflo Dollar, the pastor of megachurch World Changers Church International in Atlanta, Georgia, has been arrested on simple battery charges after an alleged altercation with his daughter.

According to Fox 5 in Atlanta, the pastor was taken into police custody early this morning following the incident.

The arrest warrant alleges Dollar “intentionally caused physical harm to his teenage daughter by grabbing her around the neck and choking her.” The warrant states the incident caused a scratch on the right side of the girl’s throat.

He was released on a $5,000 bond after a court hearing and Channel 2 Action News was there to catch his initial reaction. As he left the Fayette County jail, he told reporter Tom Jones, “I just love my kid. Love them. Same problem every parent’s going through.”

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a spokesperson for Dollar will release a statement on his behalf soon.
