Chris Brown has sworn off the media for some time now, and hasn’t done an interview since before his last album F.A.M.E. dropped last year. But he recently gave artist Ron English a rare look into his childhood, inspiration, drive, and creative process with the visual aspects of his career, like directing music videos.

Ron and Chris are collaborating on a limited toy collectibles line called Dum English, which they launched last month in Los Angeles.
