Drake Denies Involvement In Chris Brown Club Altercation (Updated)

Things got more than ugly last night at NYC club W.i.P, when a fight between Drake and Chris Brown‘s entourages broke out, leaving 5 people injured, including 1 person who is in serious condition.

Chris took to Twitter and spoke his peace right after the incident (but later deleted his tweets), and now Drake has a released a statement completely denying any involvement in the fight.

According to TMZ, a representative for Drake claims the rapper was leaving the club when the incident happened.

“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.”

The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

Update: A representative for Chris Brown has also released a statement on the incident, claiming that Chris and his friends were “victims of a brutal attack.”

Chris, Karrueche [Tran], and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at WIP. They sustained several injuries. Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”

Allegedly, the fight erupted after words were exchanged between Chris and Drake, resulting in bottles and punches being thrown.

Many bystanders caught up in the altercation were cut with broken pieces of glass while it is believed that Chris’ longtime bodyguard was seriously injured. The club also suffered substantial property damage.
