This Sunday, Oprah‘s conversation with the Kardashians will continue on her OWN series “Next Chapter.” In the upcoming second part, Kim opens up about her newly romantic relationship with Kanye West. The two have been spotted everywhere together lately, but Kim says they’ve been friends for years.

We met maybe almost a decade ago. I’ve known him for a really long time. We’ve been friends for 6 or 7 years. It’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through the similar things. I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. There’s so many similarities in our life that i feel like i’m at a really happy, good space.
