Apparently, media mogul Oprah Winfrey got close with the Kardashian family when she interviewed them for her “Next Chapter” series on her network OWN.

After the interview aired, which Oprah called “”another level of forthrightness and honesty,” rumors began to spread that she would also be appearing on E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Well, Kim confirmed the speculation when she took to her website to share how excited she is to have Oprah on an upcoming episode of her family’s reality show.

“Make sure you guys stay tuned to this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians because we’ll have a very special guest appearing on the show… Oprah Winfrey! We filmed the behind the scenes of our interview with Oprah for the show, so I’m excited for you all to see how things went down with Oprah and the OWN crew at my mom’s house! It was an incredible day for us all and one we will never forget.”

Since people were up in arms over Oprah interviewing Kim and her family in the first place, it’ll be interesting to hear the response to her appearance on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Only time will tell.

In the mean time, Oprah recently interviewed Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat about their NBA championship win and she will sit down with Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna this August.
