In a surprise move, Frank Ocean released his debut album a week early last night, right before he made his first ever television performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Backed by The Roots and a strings section, he took to the stage to perform “Bad Religion,” which is one of the songs that caused rumors about his sexuality and his open letter response to the topic.
