Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange Album Debuts At Number Two On Billboard

Congratulations are in order for Frank Ocean. After much controversy and critical acclaim, the singer/songwriter’s debut album Channel Orange has come in at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Hits Daily Double, Channel Orange sold 130,945 albums in its first week of sales.

Last week, Chris Brown took the top spot, debuting at #1 with 134,000 copies of his Fortune album sold, while the week before that Usher did the same with 128,000 sold.

The news comes after the recent report that retailer Target will not carry the physical copy of the album due to its early and exclusive release to iTunes.

But despite that minor set back, Frank is keeping it moving on his Channel Orange tour, which started in Seattle last week.
