Legendary singer Anita Baker will release her Only Forever, first album in almost a decade, later this year and she may surprise many with the first single from the project. Ms. Baker chose to remake close friend Tyrese‘s hit record “Lately.”

According to BoomBox, Tyrese will lend his voice to one version of Anita’s of “Lately,” which she says was one of the first songs she recorded for Only Forever. You can get “Lately” on iTunes now.
