After a week of predictions, it’s official: 2 Chainz has the #1 album in the country.

His debut album Based On A T.R.U. Story has claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart and figures say the album sold 145,809 copies in its first week of sales.

With Rick Ross‘ God Forgives, I Don’t (which is at #3 this week) and Nas‘ Life Is Good, this makes the third straight release from Def Jam to enter the charts at #1.
