Trey Songz’s ‘Chapter V’ Album Lands At Number One On Billboard

After the release of his fifth studio album Chapter V, Trey Songz has earned his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Chapter V took the top position on this week’s charts, selling a reported 134,600 copies since its release. Currently, “Heart Attack” and “2 Reasons,” both singles from the album, are sitting pretty in the top 10 of Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Trey’s last album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure debuted at #2 in 2010 with 240,000 sold.

In other chart news, DJ Khaled‘s Kiss the Ring compilation album also premiered high on the Billboard 200, coming in a #4 with 40,115 sold. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz‘s Based On A T.R.U. Story is holding on at #2 with another 47,322 albums sold after debuting last week at #1.
