When Lil’ Wayne’s Dedication 4 finally dropped, everyone seemed to be drawn to “Mercy,” not only because label mate Nicki Minaj was on the track, but because the Young Money emcee claimed that she would be voting for Republican candidate Mitt Romney come November 6.

Well, during an interview with Orlando radio station Power 95.3, President Obama addressed Nicki’s verse and took it with a grain of salt.

“I’m not sure that’s actually what happened. I think there’s a song on there – a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters, so I don’t know what’s going on there.”

The President also commented that his daughters Sasha and Malia don’t listen to Ms. Minaj that much.
