Got Drugs? (National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Is Tomorrow)

You get up in the morning, go in that bathroom cabinet, and see all the junk you’ve bought, and prescriptions: NyQuil, Tylenol, Excedrin. But here is the question, when is the last time you checked for expired medicines? Well, tomorrow join millions across the nation as we dispose of expired medications.

Last year, 774 tons were collected on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, an initiative led by the Drug Enforcement Administration. You’ll feel better knowing what you have in your cabinet is safe and up to date, and that no one, especially kids, can actually digest something no good for them.

This year, Take-Back Day is on September 29, 2012 from 10AM – 2PM. Even if you don’t use the drop off locations for your city, take the time to go through your cabinets and dump the old stuff down the toilet.

But, if you are interested in getting rid of some of those expired medications, take a look below at the drop off locations, or click here to search for a location near you.
