Cissy Houston Talks Whitney's Death, Substance Abuse With Oprah (Video)

Cissy Houston held absolutely nothing back in her “Next Chapter” interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Cissy, mother of Whitney Houston, spoke on her daughter’s addiction, staging an intervention for her, how she was alone when she found out of her death, worrying for the future of her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina, her thoughts on Bobby Brown, and if her daughter was possibly gay and how that would have bothered her.

Also during the interview, Whitney’s older brother Michael joined the sit down and made the shocking revelation that it was him (and not Bobby Brown as many have assumed for years) who introduced her to drugs. He said it was the early 1980s when the two, who were very close, began using drugs together and that it “just got out of hand.”

Michael explained that he feels responsible for playing a part in Whitney’s death and will carry it with him for the rest of his life.

Take a look at Michael’s revelation, and other clips from the very candid interview below.
