1. Free’s Fashion Corner: Inspiration For Fall

   Ahhh…the days of summer. Days where maxi dresses, cute gladiator sandals or wedges, painted toes and carefree hair rule. These days are quickly coming to an end and as much as I want to be able to wear my maxi dresses and wedges forever, reality kicks in and it only means one thing: fall is around the corner. No need to despair. Fall fashion is full of inspiration and there are tons of gorgeous pieces that have caught my eye that are sure to chase away those end of summer blues.

   This fall I am looking forward to rocking my all time favorite denim craze, jeggings. I know, they’ve been around for a little while now, but I’m still a bit obsessed as I currently own about 6 pairs, but who cares, the fit is amazing, comes in tons of colors and styles and compares to no other and is a great alternative to actual jeans. I love how they are so versatile and can be worn with so many things. I practically live in them.

   

   Pair them with a simple tee, a funky cardigan and super cute wedge booties and try a little animal print bag (another item that’ll be popular this season) to add an extra pop to your fall wardrobe. (more…)

3. Fashion: Peace Y’all

   I found this really cool T-shirt in Union Square and thought it was unique so I asked the designer what his inspiration was. Here’s what he said (the name of the shirt is “Peace Y’all”):

   In the shirt there are 3 men of 3 different complexions. The man in the center is holding up a peace sign to complete the message. When you are wearing the shirt, if you put your hands in your pockets, as the 3 men are standing, your arms, being a different complexion (hopefully), will add to the puzzle and further convey the message.
