As you have probably heard by now, over the weekend, Joplin, Missouri was devastated by severe weather that resulted in a tornado that ripped through the town. The storms destroyed nearly a quarter of Joplin’s homes and businesses. The death toll has reached at least 118 and it continues to climb as volunteers search through the rubble for survivors. Currently, about 1,500 people are still unaccounted for.

Botox momSheena Upton, also known as Kerry Campbell has now provided TMZ with documents that she says prove that her story about injecting her daughter with the wrinkle remover was scripted and fake.
Here is some of her alleged script:
“She’s [her daughter] going to be famous thanks to me giving her injections so young. Â I have found a clinic that will do boob jobs in Mexico at 14, so if she hasn’t developed by then we’re saving for that surgery. Â I admire Lindsay Lohan’s mum … for turning Lindsay into a child millionaire.”
She apparently set the deal up through a broker for Good Morning America and Inside Edition, and the broker put together the script. Â The payments received from each were $10K (GMA) and $9500 (Inside).
The reporter who brokered the deal for The Sun, who originally reported the story is denying everything, claiming that Upton is trying to extort her — and insisting that she saw Sheena inject her daughter.
Upton maintains that it was all a phony story set up to make a quick buck.
I would like to send a WTF? to GMA for putting the thought out there.. what if some mother saw it and said hmm maybe i’ll botox my baby? Is there not enough going on the world that we have to MAKE UP segments? I’m embarrassed for GMA, one of the most respected news shows in the world. I’m ashamed that this is what media has come too. Reporting fake ish for ratings..and the poor momma probably didn’t expect the backlash from the fake botox — so that’s why she ‘s blowing GMA up…and i don’t blame her!
It’s always been a dream of mine to be on GMA #dreamdeferred. Â I would not particpate in such a serious shenanigan, especially with all the deaths occuring from fake injections and illegal surgery! Smh!
This is absolutely weird but below is a video of a hair salon bein robbed, not for its cash or TVs, but for its HAIR!! Human hair has become such a hot commodity thate thieves are breaking and entering so they can sell that hair to their homegirl who does hair out her house.
Hopefully, the salons have insurance but even that’s not enough, as a Detroit salon owner was recently killed while being robbed. According to Clutch magazine, word on the street is they actually have the nerve to go right back to the hair salon they stole it from and resell it. SMH.
A San Francisco mother is under investigation by Child Protective Services after she recently appeared on Good Morning America and told the world she gave her daughter anti-wrinkle injections. The mother said the shots were to prepare the girl for a beauty pageant. Since the show aired, the 8-year-old girl has been removed from the home and placed into CPS custody while the investigation is taking place.
Now see what we’ve done. No one can determine what real beauty is anymore, to the point that a mom is injecting botox into her 8-year-old daughter’s face so she can compete in beauty pageants! Whaaaaattttt!!!??? (more…)
After a years of searching, it is now being reported that Osama bin Laden, most known for his leadership of terrorist group Al Qaeda and the organization of the events of September 11, is dead. In an address on national security, President Obama made a late night announcement informing the media and public that bin Laden was killed in a U.S. led attack in Pakistan. In his televised address, the President said:
Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda and the terrorist who is responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.
Shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the kiling or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against Al Qaeda. Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead on bin Laden. It was far from certain and it took many months to run this thread to ground.
And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction, the U.S. launched a targeted operation against that compound [where bin Laden was residing] in Pakistan. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a fire fight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body.
While Donald Trump sat in the audience at the White House correspondent’s dinner, President Obama took to the stage and threw out some jokes about Trump. The President took shots like:
“Now, I know that he’s taken some flak lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate to rest than The Donald. And that’s because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened at Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?”
Of course, Trump didn’t look too happy about the roast he was receiving, but that was really just the beginning. Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers followed the President’s lead with the following words:
“Donald Trump said recently he has a great relationship with “the blacks,” but unless The Blacks are a family of white people, I bet he’s mistaken.”
Before her 25 year run on daytime television comes to a close, Oprah had the President and First Lady Michelle on her show. Yesterday, CNN released the official birth certificate for President Obama to quiet the comments of birthers (like Donald Trump) who have been questioning the President’s citizenship. Today, the White House also released the long form of the document proving that he was, in fact, born in Hawaii. In a press conference, the President spoke on the issue, saying:
“Normally, I would not comment on something like this… I’ve got other things to do. We’ve got some enormous challenges out there. There are a lot of folks out there who are still looking for work. Everybody is still suffering under high gas prices. We’re going to have to make a series of very difficult decisions about how we invest in our future but also get a hold of our deficit and our debt. I am confident that the American people and America’s political leaders can come together, in a bipartisan way, and solve these problems. We always have.
But we’re not going to be able to do it, if we are distracted. (more…)
